So We Begin

I’m really pleased that the project is off to such a good start with 5 Majors in the bag already: The Fool, The Priestess, The Hierophant, Death and The Tower. Several of the other cards are already scheduled and, all being well, by the end of the Summer I should have my Magician, Chariot, Strength, Justice, Hermit and Hanged Man from the Majors and a few of the minors and courts as well. I have planned The Sun, Moon and Star cards, though these are very much location and weather dependent, sometimes both, so it’s a bit more ‘fingers crossed and hope for a following wind’ (or not, as the case may be).

I’m focusing mainly on completing the Majors initially and have set myself a target of having them done this year. Thus, they are very much at the forefront of my thoughts in terms of planning and ideas. Most have now either fallen into place or I have a definite image in my mind that I just need to turn into an image everyone else can see too. This is not always entirely straightforward and the logistics of executing my vision of The World card is causing me some consternation at present. For some of the other cards, I have several possibilities and either haven’t decided or haven’t convinced myself that any of the ideas will be right. What can I say, I’m a perfectionist 😀

The Minors and Courts are always on my mind too, but they are usually more of a background process where I think, “oh, that would be good for…” The planning phase is less active, but still ongoing and I have several cards lined up for the next few months. I haven’t decided yet whether I will post these as I go, or wait until the Majors are completed. What do you think? Would you like to see them as I complete them or can you wait? I’m not sure I can 😀
