The Battle of Bosworth was the final and decisive battle of the Wars of the Roses, ending the reign of the Plantagenets with the defeat of Richard III. Here we see the victorious Henry Tudor, soon to become Henry VII, riding the battlefield in triumph, to the acclaim of the gathered soldiers.
