The High Priestess is the source, the wellspring, the connection with the mystery. This White Lady is constantly flowing and changing and yet, retains a form between her pillars of rock. The wild woodland is where she has carved her home and she nourishes it and gives us our connection to Life, for without water, we can not survive or thrive.
Just as the Hierophant is represented by a man-made structure, the Priestess is untamed nature.
